The following are the research groups of the Facultad de Matemáticas. All of them maintain strong international connections with a regular flow of visiting researchers, and they continuously generate valuable activities which include seminars, schools and conferences. In particular, we aspire to provide an academic environment of excellence to receive students looking to specialize in our research topics or Ph.D. recipients who are looking for a postdoctoral position. Every year the Chilean government awards Ph.D. scholarships (granted for a maximum of 4 years ) and postdoctoral fellowships (granted for 2 or 3 years). For details see Conicyt Phd or Conicyt postdoc.
